Guida ai Traghetti

Ferry Guide

Ferry Guide of the Mediterranean: we offer a reliable way to keep track of schedules and fares for all hydrofoils and ferries. You can find all ferries to Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Elba Island, Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Albania, Montenegro and Croatia.

Some tips to save time and money, plus information, schedules and fares for all ferries arriving at and departing from Italian ports:

Save Money

  • Whenever possible, avoid weekend departures and be ready to travel at unusual times (very early morning or late at night).
  • Buy round-trip tickets. Special offers, discounts and lower fares are generally used on weekdays.
  • Don’t wait until the last minute because there is no true “Last Minute” and you risk paying more.
  • Always ask to check if special fares are available, but with limited availability.
  • Attention: carefully read each Company’s conditions of carriage because “reduced fare” tickets are neither changeable nor refundable.

Save Time

  • Many agencies and operators sell ferry tickets online, but only a few do so in REAL TIME. You’ll save time and can print your ticket immediately from your computer with no price changes and no booking/agency fees.
  • Do not enter your credit card on sites that are not able to let you complete the booking online.
  • Beware of sites that do not state “who they are,” where there’s no phone number, no reliable postal address. Always check the Company or Agency name and that VAT is shown on the Home Page.
